Happiness springs from giving,
To get is our real joy...
Creating creates happiness,
What bliss when we destroy!
It is the painful journey...
To stations of delight,
The pleasures of darkness...
And ecstasies of pure light!
The start of desires,
Building anticipation...
The onslaught of denial,
It's own satisfaction!
Life's endless gaiety,
At being fulfilled.,,
And the accompanying doubt,
What lies beyond the hill!
Bursts of love's first love!
Feisty, brash and bold...
The blush of last love,
With embers going cold!
The labour and the pain,
Of ideas being born...
Joy at approaching death..,
To the tired soul, careworn!
Music is it's life,
An ode to silence too...
Memories moulded to needs,
Of rainbow coloured hues...
The pastel shades of laughter
The darker shades of pain
Happines - man's design
To be happy again!
